We report what happened and why it matters. Direct communication, not attention manipulation.
Apprise News delivers short and long-form video and audio briefings built around context, not clicks. Curated reporting for an enlightened public.
The problem
Misinformation spreads faster than corrections. Headlines prioritize clicks over clarity. Apprise News is built to cut through — clearly, directly, and without false equivalence — to make full news coverage easily accessible and reliable.

Our Team
Our content is compiled and written by real, professional journalists from around the world, but is reported by avatars. Since the reporters are not the news, and avatars are inexpensive, Apprise News spends more on real journalism — and on more, deeper coverage.

Editorial standards
Four constraints that define how we work. Trust is built through transparency.
We report what happened and why it matters. Direct communication, not attention manipulation.
We avoid inflated language and manufactured urgency. Clarity stays ahead of virality.
Being first is not the goal. Being clear, complete, and accurate is.
Advertising and sponsorship do not influence editorial decisions.
How it works
Every briefing moves through five stages — each with clear guardrails.
Pull credible source material into a structured workflow
Human editors prioritize signal over volume and verify sourcing
Generate clear narration with context where needed
Craft polished briefings in consistent formats
Distribute with transparency and proper labeling
Democracy depends on an enlightened citizenry. We are built to distinguish what is true from what is mistaken or misleading.

The app
Apprise News is a web application at app.apprise.news. It turns Associated Press wire reporting into short video briefings, shows how each story is being covered across outlets, and lets you follow the stories you care about. Reading is free and needs no account.
Creating a free account saves stories, follows topics and keeps your daily game streaks. A Premium subscription adds a personalised daily brief and audio narration. You can sign in with an emailed link, an email and password, or your Google account.
What we do with Google sign-in: if you choose to sign in with Google, we receive only your name, email address and profile picture, and use them solely to create and access your Apprise News account. We do not post on your behalf, read your mail, or access any other Google data, and we never sell it. You can revoke access at any time from your Google account settings, and you can delete your Apprise News account from within the app.
